About the Wineary:
Rosa Fiorelli Winery, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business located just south of Lake Manatee in the rolling hills of eastern Manatee County. Rosa and her husband Antonio moved to this area from Casteldaccia, Sicily, and were struck by the similarities here to their native land. Soon there were five rows of bunch grapes in the backyard with the garden, and a corner of the garage closed off for making wine.

The vines were only the beginning! As more grapes became Rosa Fiorelli Winery available, Rosa and Antonio expanded their wine making activities as well. Today the Winery has its own building for fermenting and bottling, and a separate building for tasting and sales.

We have recently expanded to 10 acres of vineyard and a 3000 sq. ft. winery. Mature grapevines allow for u-pick fresh grapes bronze or black Muscadine grapes in early August to September.

After being in business 9 years, we have already earned 25 awards in the commercial international wine competition: from the prestigious gold, as well as silver and bronze.

The Tampa Adventure Group and Rosa and Antonio invite you to enjoy a visit to our area's first winery and vineyard. Learn about the art of growing grapes and making wine, taste Florida's finest locally produced wines, or just spend some time experiencing something new and unique. We look forward to seeing you!

Our tour will include a walk through the vineyards where you will receive information about growth seasons, pruning times, harvesting times, and different varieties of grapes. You will also visit the manufacturing plant and and become informed on the winery process and how grapes are crushed, pressed, fermented, and bottled.

Itinerary:
11:00PM: Arrive at the winery, wine tasting begins, and meet other TAG members
11:15PM: Begin tour of the vineyard and discuss grapes, and the growing process
1:00PM: Begin tour of the grape processing facility, and learn about fermenting, and bottling
2:00PM: Relax for a authentic Italian cuisine of fresh salads, sandwiches, and a class on wine tasting using local wines.
3:00PM: Enjoy lunch and wine, socialize
4:00PM: Farewells and goodbyes

Includes Vineyard tour, Italian lunch, Wine Tasting, and a souvenir glass.
