The Tampa Adventure Group would like to say Thank You to all of its members by hosting a Free BBQ Beach Party at Ft Desoto!
Come join TAG as we celebrate the 2 year anniversary. We will be swimming, playing beach volleyball, grilling food, and hanging out. Lunch is free, no need to bring any food or side dishes to share. Grab your bathing suits, cameras, and meet us at 11:00AM for some great food and fun in the sun!
Food will be cooked and provided by our one and only T.A.G. chef Stan!
The 2 Year Anniversary Picnic Itinerary:
11:00AM-2:00PM: Free BBQ lunch for T.A.G members with annual membership
2:00PM: Raffle including camping, fishing, backpacking, outdoor, and a few surprise items.
2:00PM-5:00PM: Beach volleyball, badminton, football, and other games.
Lunch Menu:
BBQ Chicken & Hickory smoked BBQ chicken
Homemade coleslaw
Campfire beans
Dinner rolls
Fresh baked cookies
Sweet/Unsweet Tea
Spring Water
Gear being raffled at 2:00PM:

What to bring:
Beach clothes

$$$ Cash for the Outdoor Gear Raffle at 2:00PM ($1.00 per raffle ticket)
Radio/TV if you want to keep up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or other NFL Games.
If you are a vegetarian or vegan, you may need to bring your own lunch dish if the menu above is not what you enjoy eating, Thanks!
Where:
We will be at pavilion #14 on the EAST Beach, not the north beach. When you stop in the park at the big flag pole you will take a LEFT and head to the East beach to pavilion #14.
Who:
This event is open to Paid T.A.G. Members with annual membership Only!
Guests, Family members, and non-paid members may attend and join the food and fun if they become a paid member during the event.
Food will only be given to Paid Members who have registered and have a bracelet!
How Much:
Free! This event includes lunch and games, just another way to say thank you for being part of T.A.G.

Debbie, Thank you! It takes a great effort to make TAG happen on a day-to-day basis but the rewards (2 Happy marriages, all the new friends, networking, and those trying so many new events for the first time in their lives) far out weigh the effort. Thanks for the nice comments.

I'll be fishing the Fort from my kayak at the butt crack o' dawn before the picnic. If you see me out there in a dark green Tarpon 120, feel free to paddle by and say "hello".

I'll be bringing Bachi Ball, Frisbee's and a Soccer Ball.
Also I'll bring a cooler full of ice for drinks.
